Lactic Acid (AHA)

Lactic acid is a large molecule part of the alpha-hydroxy acid family (AHAs). It's similar to another popular skincare ingredient, glycolic acid, except that lactic acid is a bigger molecule and doesn't penetrate as deeply into the skin. Lactic acid is a hydrating ingredient that is naturally occurring in dairy products, but thrives in the world of skincare due to it's impressive exfoliating qualities.

Lactic acid works by breaking down and dissolving the structure of dead and dull skin cells without causing sensitivity. The skin is left brighter, more even, and nourished for gorgeous, glowing skin.
